This crochet pattern is to make this adorable octopus. This is a super easy, no sew pattern that is quick to work up. Perfect for last minute gifts and market prep. It's curly little tentacles are so fun to create. I adore the spiral created by the tentacles, it's such a nice effect.
Yarn
You can use any yarn you have lying around for this pattern. I love making it with chunky and plush yarns but can also be made with thinner yarns to create adorable little key chains.
All the octopus pictured here have been made with Hobbii's Baby snuggle yarn. I love the incredibly soft feel of it and I find it so easy to work with.
Other Materials
Crochet hook, size appropriate to chosen yarn (I would recommend one or two sizes smaller than the recommended size on yarn label)
Yarn needle
Poly fill
Stitch markers (I never work without these and place one in the last stitch of each round)
Safety eyes (choose a size that suits your yarn and project)
*Please note that safety eyes are NOT recommended for children under the age of 3 years.
