Yarn

You can use any yarn you have for this pattern. I love making it with plush yarns, but it can also be made with thinner yarns to create adorable smaller versions. In the pictures shown, I have made it with Hobbii Honey Bunny yarn.

Other Materials

  • Crochet hook, size appropriate to chosen yarn (I would recommend one or two sizes smaller than the recommended size on yarn label)

  • Yarn needle

  • Polyfill

  • Stitch markers

  • Safety eyes (select a size that suits your yarn and project)

*Please note that safety eyes are NOT recommended for children under the age of 3 years.

Abbreviations and Stitches

  • MR: Magic ring

  • sc: Single crochet

  • inc: Increase (Stitch 2sc into the one stitch)

  • dec: SC decrease using the invisible method

· dc: double crochet

· flo: front loop only (instead of crocheting in both loops, only crochet into the front loop)

  • (...) x n: Repeat instructions in brackets n times

*In this pattern, we use a four-stitch bobble stitch to create the arms, legs, muzzle and tail.
